Endings are never easy. Beginnings are always exciting so the gateway always comes with mixed feelings. Recognise your achievements and embrace the possibilities.
Sometimes we want to stop the natural flow of life because we don’t want to let things or people go. We like to collect new things without releasing the old. I’ll admit that I’m an avid collector who hates letting go. I am one of those people who has to fight back tears as I wave goodbye to friends and family who visit. I don’t want to let go.
But we need to realise that we continually grow and we often outgrow things, and even people, we once needed in our past. Once we have learnt the lessons we needed, we can move on to new lessons. And sometimes people need to let go of us too. It’s okay to let go. We can look back and acknowledge all that we’ve achieved in any situation and see the bright possibilities in the future ahead of us.
If they are meant to be back in your life, they’ll come back to you at a time that is perfect for the lessons you are meant to learn from one another in the future. It’s all good.
